Today is one of those day where I hate China..... Start off badly with my miserable bike ride to work in the rain where people are ridiculous. So rude, so unorganize, so uncivilized. Then at work, sat around on my ass all day, because the head of the project haven't gotten his shit together and won't have it together until Sunday night. The white people got their part of the project almost done and can get it done on Friday night, but no, not the Chinese. They won't finalize stuffs until Sunday night because "it's always like this." No, make a damn schedule with a specific deadline and stick to it. Just because your presentation is on Monday does not means you have until Monday morning at 7 to finish your project. And since I'm the one putting the book together, I have to come in on sunday night to deal with this shit. a) i don't get paid enough for this b) i don't get paid overtime for this c) I don't get my meals compensate for this d) I fucking hate them all for their unorganize-ness.... So the bulk of my day was spent being hateful and pissy at Chinese and at my silly job. I keep telling myself that Shanghai will be worth it....

Afterwork I went with Josh to City Diner to celebrate Fourth of July together. Ate some delicious american food, get to see white people and happy hour at city diner from 6 PM until 6 AM. Had a few corona, chatted with Josh and in general, he drives me crazy but it was enjoyable.

Well, hopefully everyone is having more fun than me. Just to cheer you up, I found these horrendous pictures that someone snapped of me at Mao a few weeks back.
